Quinn takes a Dip in the Spa!

Many of you know that the 'Spa' in the Warren household is just part of life. So while at home in San Diego we just had to introduce Quinn to the best way to end the day. The hot tub was a huge success and Quinn enjoyed every minute. For those of you questioning the temp...we kept it cool for the little guy!

Aunt Jill's Bachelorette weekend!

A great crowd of ladies all got together in San Diego to celebrate Jill getting married. Much time was spent by the pool enjoying the sun. Quinn got a taste of what it's like being the only male at a bachelorette weekend. He was rescued by his Daddy and spent most of the time with G&G Warren and G&G Niekrasz.

looks may be deceiving

From this picture you would think that Quinn just LOVES to go for a ride in the car in his car seat...well he absolutely HATES to go for a ride in his car seat. We don't have a car or a car seat in Edinburgh so this is a new experience for Quinn, but I am sensing a similarity to Quinn's reaction to the pram. Oh dear, baby boot camp here we come! Must get baby Q use to these things!!

Bumbo Time!

Quinn has his very own little seat (thanks to Tamara for lending us some baby stuff) while here in San Diego. As you can see, he just loves to be sitting up. I think he feels like a grown up. He also makes the breakfast table so much more fun for Grandpa Harv who thinks it would be fun to place Quinn in the Bumbo on a lazy susan for a little ride...

Welcome to the US of A Quinn!

Last Tuesday we made the big trek across the pond. Quinn did a GREAT job on the plane. He slept mostly, but when he was awake he found the lights and the air vents fascinating! We had really good seats with a bassinet and leg room (awesome) on the first leg of the trip, and someone was on our side cause we ended up with a three person row on a fully booked flight on the last flight. Whew...we could stretch out just a little more!

California...READY!

Scotland born Quinn has no idea what fun he is about to have at his fingertips when he gets to California. There are lots of sights, sounds, and smells that will be new for him. We are sure looking forward to experiencing them with him, but most of all we can't wait to share him with all our family and friends. CAN'T WAIT!
Quinn's got his spa suit ready~

Surfs up Dude...take me to the beach!

Being cool with the ladies at Aunt Jill's Bachelorette Party for a couple hours might be arranged.

Maybe a trip to the San Diego Zoo could be fun!

ROAR!!!

Boun-CY

No the camera isn't broken, its just one of Quinn's favorite things...Bouncing on the Yoga Ball. If Quinn is a bit restless, fussy, or overtired giving him a good bounce on the ball settles him right down or even puts him to sleep. Daddy has mad-skillz when it comes to the right kind of bounce to give Q. We will be bringing this home to California for those special moments we are sure to experience! Continental airlines, don't worry we will deflate before boarding!

The Wheels on the Pram go Up and Down!...

And so does Quinn's enjoyment of it! Yep, for the past two weeks Quinn gets extremely upset when he it put in the stroller. I have tried everything to warm him to it again. I would pick him up and console him every ten minutes, and hope that the next time I put him back down he would settle in. I tried dangling toys for him to look at; those freaked him out. Well, who knows what finally did it, but Quinn is back to loving his ride in the pram....THANK GOODNESS! This pic was taken yesterday after a three hour shopping trip I took him out on. He slept the whole time;) Maybe it was a little help from Quinn's best friend Horsey!

Stockbridge Duck Race? Of course!

Today Quinn and I went for our regular walk in our neighborhood along the water. There was a crowd gathering to watch the annual Duck Race. So Q and I hung out to watch too. There were hundreds of ducks released from the bridge. When the first sound came from the Piper the ducks were off. It was quite a site!

Oh..didn't I mention they were rubber ducks?!! ;)

Celebrating year 3...just the three of us!

Wednesday marked our third wedding anniversary. Three years of marriage-our family became three! Three is our number for awhile...three to think of when going to rent a car, three to go on the airplane, and three for dinner-please. Glad to say everyone is happy with the other...no third wheel here! PS: Don't get any ideas that this number thing will continue. Next year at this time we won't be a family of 4... quite yet!It has been amazingly warm in Edinburgh, so we took advantage of it and enjoyed a lovely dinner outside. Warm enough to keep Quinn in a onesise all evening!

Quinn showed us another trait he shares with his Daddy, which is the love of letters. Time to get the magnet letters out!
