Another step together

The other day we had a chance to celebrate parenthood together with friends Brad and Merrilee and their little boy Paxton. Brad and I have followed many paths together. We went to school together and had our first rock band together. He and Merrilee lived in Redwood City while I did, and they also lived in Scotland when I did back in 2001. Now, Paxton is just a couple weeks older than Quinn, and we therefore will have so many more years to share our experiences. These are just a few photos of the many which are surely to come with the two of them together.

Bath, Spa, what's the diff?

Well, we've been neglecting the blog a little bit. Sorry!

I'm chiming in here for a sec just to take care of the huge backlog of pics we've managed to take in the past few weeks. This entry is on the theme of bath time. That's because it's one of Quinn's favorite times. I personally look forward to bath time for many reasons. Firstly, I get to mess around with Quinn's hair and style it in different ways (and take note, this is John writing, not Jenny). I also love the fascination he has with dripping water, the gaze he gives Mommy as he gets cleaned, and finally tonight, the baptism by urine of Grampa Harv!
